BACK TO GALLERY           THE PERSIAN ROSE BEDROOM. Persian Rose is a variation of the soft blue Asiatic Pheasant pattern which has been in almost continual production for 200 years. It is considered second only in popularity to the Willow pattern. The wash stand holds the jug and basin, with the sponge bowl and small shaving soap bowl on the left. To the right are the shallow soap dish with the toothbrush box in front and the slop pail and potty below. On the wall above are a dinner and two side plates. A set of three facetted bowls decorate the window sill with the larger items, foot bath, bidet and Chinese vase on the floor.
