BACK TO GALLERY           THE BLUE AND WHITE COLLECION Familiar patterns and traditional designs from the mid 18th century which owe much to the influence of imported Chinese porcelain decorate this dresser. The Willow pattern plates in the centre are flanked with Fleur-de-lys plates on the left and Canton Border plates on the right. On the second shelf down are Peacock, Delft and Blue Roman plates. A Sovereign Blue dinner service, circa 1830, occupies most of the middle shelves. This pattern is also available as Sovereign Red. A Mandarin bell vase, Delft powder bowl, Canton plate and fruit bowl share the work surface.
