THE STUDIO     The Stokesay studio in 2000 after renovation Since the late 1990's the Stokesay studio has been situated in a converted mews building located close to home. Built in 1873 it originally housed horses on the ground floor and living accommodation for the stable lads and storage on the upper floor. The addition on the street side was built during the thirties and served as a restaurant and refreshment bar during the Second World War.
